Australian RainForests
Although rainforests only cover 6% of the worlds surface, Australia is home to some of the most beautiful rainforests on the planet. Despite being known for its hot and dry climate, Australia is home to the Daintree and Gondwana rainforests, of which the Indigenous Aboriginals once lived in. These rainforests are also Australia's oldest vegetation, which make these rainforests very significant. Click on one of the three buttons below for more information about the Daintree and Gondwana rainforests, or for general information go to About Rainforests.
