Spatial Distribution
- Tropical Rainforests are found in low latitude, rainy, tropical regions of the world, which means they are generally located within the tropics, where it is hot and frequently rains.
- They are geographically located within the tropics and equator so that trees and plants need get heat, light and moisture to grow. If these conditions are in abundance, the plants and trees eventually group together to become a rainforest.
- Rainforests are only forests that are in an area with high rainfall, due the name. Due to the high temperatures and the intensity of the sunlight, it results to the water cycle constantly repeating itself, which is the reason to the high rainfall.
